The Theory

Theories should start with facts.  This section is a collection of facts to recognize about female anatomy that form a foundational understanding of why the Technique is an effective strategy.

Recognition One

Recognize that the clitoris has two parts.  While the clitoris is a single organ and therefore a single unit of flesh, it effectively has an outer region and an inner region.  The pubic bone is what separates the two parts at a small opening known as the pubic symphysis.  The bulk of this organ is placed behind your pubic bone.  We can call this part the inner clitoris.  Because it is behind your pubic bone, it means you can't see this part of the organ and you can't touch this part of your organ with your fingers.  If you are not told that it exists there, you might never realize that it does exist due to the fact that you can't see or touch it.  My own awareness of the inner clitoris is only due to my accidental discovery moment followed by years of reiterating the sensation of this.  No one told me directly either, I had to seek this information out and draw the connection.  But I emphasize it here, strongly and at the very start of this discussion, because it is the most critical piece to understand.  If you are a female, then your anatomy means you have this organ and the details of how this organ is positioned and how it functions are not arbitrary.  Then it also follows that if awareness of my inner clitoris was the key to my success, then it can also be the key to your success.

Meanwhile, the smaller part of this organ, we can call it the outer clitoris, protrudes out from the pubic bone and is easier to identify due to the fact that you can use your own fingers to cause the sensations that this organ has to offer you.  The outer clitoris is associated with female masturbation and rubbing this area can cause a type of orgasm and—for the majority of women who also participate—this is likely the only form of orgasm they are familiar with.  But female masturbation is only limited to including just the outer clitoris because the rest of the clitoris is behind the pubic bone, therefore, the other part of this organ, the inner clitoris, is not being interacted with during masturbation.  But as I state that the outer clitoris is more well known, understand that a percentage of women are not familiar with even the outer clitoris and would require being told that they have an outer clitoris.  It is possible that some women, even women who are married and have children, might never learn of their outer clitoris at all.

Personally, I masturbated with a similar frequency during puberty as the boys in my class were doing.  While I did not discuss this openly and no one really asked me to disclose this, I now look back and realize that this practice likely helped me identify the sensations during my accidental discovery moment as they were happening.  Given what I have seen and known as a woman in midlife, I encourage young women to see the behavior of female masturbation as an exercise in developing the bodily awareness needed to have greater experiences later on in life.  If you want to experience orgasm during penetration brought on by the Technique, then familiarity with the orgasms associated with masturbation will only help in the process.  Certainly lack of familiarity might become a barrier to success.

The point of emphasis with this recognition is that you have an outer clitoris and you have an inner clitoris.  The Technique focuses on the inner clitoris.  A part of the Technique is finding your inner clitoris.

Recognition Two

Recognize that the clitoris is an organ designed to be available for stimulation so that an orgasm can be triggered or induced in a female.  It is connected via the nervous system pathways to the brain for intake of touch sensation.  This organ is the stimulus point to begin the process of orgasm.  This process happens no matter which part of the clitoris is stimulated.  Or even if both parts are simultaneously stimulated, all the better.  The function is still the same.

Recognition Three

Recognize that access to the inner clitoris happens through the area of the vaginal canal adjacent to the inner clitoris.  In comparison, take a moment to consider the process of tickling.  When a person is tickled, the interaction is technically with the skin surrounding the areas that have greater amounts of nerve endings.  In other words, when you are tickling, you are not directly touching the nervous system, you are instead touching the skin that is near or adjacent to the increased nerve endings area.  With the Technique, you won't be directly touching the inner clitoris, you are touching the surrounding "skin" area adjacent to the inner clitoris, which is an area of the vaginal canal.  The vaginal canal is not skin in the same sense as what we commonly recognize as skin but instead it is mucosal membrane, but still you have awareness of touch in these types of areas too, like in your mouth, for example.

The point for this recognition is that stimulation of the inner clitoris occurs through touch sensation of the adjacent area of the vaginal canal.  Effectively, the secret to accessing the inner clitoris is through the small part of the vaginal canal that is adjacent to the inner clitoris.

Recognition Four

Recognize that the inner clitoris is larger in size than the outer clitoris.  While stimulation of either part of the clitoris can both result in an orgasm, the feeling of an orgasm stimulated by the larger inner clitoris is more intense.  The larger size means more nerve endings and this leads to a climax that is more intense.  This point is also made to help you see a correlation.  Men prefer actual sex to masturbation because in actual sex more surface area is involved in the organ of stimulation plus more bodily contact overall.  Likewise, the Technique is about involving a larger surface area in our organ of stimulation plus more bodily contact overall too.  So the Technique is not just another way to masturbate and it will cause you to prefer intercourse compared to masturbation due to the intensity of orgasm occurring during the event.  It is your body that tells you that masturbation and actual sex are not the same thing, for men and for women.
